Camp Accommodation of Shri Kapalik Mahakal

Simhasth is more than just taking a dip in the Kshipra river. It is an opportunity for one to immerse in the knowledge of so many Spiritual Gurus by interacting with them and learning from them. It offers the unique opportunity to witness the rituals and practices unique to India. Simhasth can give you a chance to experience your stay in camps being set up by various Akhadas or Gurus in Mela area near Mahakaleswar Mandir – which gives you a valuable insight into the lives of sadhus and their practices. Guruji had his camps set up many times during Kumbh Melas.

Details of Our Simhasth Camp: (Simhasth is over now)

Our camp is located at Plot no: 124/1, Bhairavgarh near Mahakaleswar Temple offers two kinds of accommodation:-

o Huts (10x12 feet)
Upto 3 persons or one family per Hut
Includes a Double Bed & a Cooler
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included

o Tents
Mattresses on the floor
20 persons per tent
Includes a Cooler
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included

Apart from these, those who stay in our camp would have the unique opportunity to perform morning and evening abhishek in the traditional way using “chita bhasm” alongwith Guruji. Ideally, this is how pooja of Lord Mahakaleswar has to be performed but this is not being done even in the Mahakaleshwar Mandir as of now.
